Mike DaFonseca (formerly Business Development Manager for Tension Pins) is now Business Development Manager for Tension Bushings. Vogelsang Tension Bushings are cost-effective bearings, ideal for high-load/low-speed operations in harsh, non-lubricated environments. They are designed to replace solid steel (tubular) and case hardened parts.
DaFonseca has quite a challenge ahead of him as the application areas for Tension Bushings are varied and span across a wide range of industries. “These cost-effective bearings are critical to a diverse range of industries such as Agriculture, Mining, Forestry, Off-Road, Off-Highway, Earth Moving, Conveying and more. I’m delighted to serve the needs of these markets and develop new ones” said DaFonseca.
Another notable personnel change is with former Inside Sales Manager Susan Woodward. Woodward has been with Vogelsang for over 16 years, and her experience and knowledge of Vogelsang has opened up the position of Project Manager. She will spearhead major projects, continuous improvements, implementation of Baan system, and reporting.
In commenting about these two personnel changes, Dale Stuban, Vice President & General Manager of Vogelsang said “We are very confident that Mike’s skills and abilities will aid him in a very successful transition. And we are very happy that Susan’s initiative and experience has developed into this new position that will serve the company well. We congratulate them both.”
